    Simon Tanner has over 20 years’ experience working  with major cultural institutions across the world to assist them to transform their collections and online presence. Simon is Professor of Digital Cultural Heritage in the Department of Digital Humanities and also founded the Digital Futures Academy that has had participants from over 40 countries and run in the UK, Australia and Africa. His personal research interests encompass digitisation, openGLAM, measuring impact and assessing value in the digital domain. He has an excellent record of delivering digitisation programmes and strategic change management for many museums, national libraries and archives; including the British Library, Europeana, digitising the Dead Sea Scrolls,  and other special collections.
